Electrical Shift Engineer – FM Service Provider – Commercial Building – Liverpool Street, London – £55,800 per annum

Exciting opportunity to join an established FM service provider based at a high-rise commercial building near Liverpool Street, London. CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for an Electrical Shift Engineer to carry out maintenance across the landlord areas of the building, working as part of an on-site engineering team.

The successful candidate will be electrically qualified (City & Guilds / NVQ) with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. This role offers a great opportunity to work within a high-profile environment, with further training (including HV) and strong career progression available.

Hours of Work:
Continental Shift Pattern4 nights, 4 off, 3 days, 3 nights, 6 off, 4 days07:00 am – 19:00 pm / 19:00 pm – 07:00 am
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical maintenanceElectrical maintenance including lighting installations, fault-finding, lamping, ballast changes, control panels, and power distributionEmergency lighting testing and maintenanceAir conditioning maintenance, including AHUs and FCUs (filter changes and cleaning)Chiller resets and basic fault diagnosisWater treatment monitoring, including temperature checks (no dosing)Monitor and maintain mechanical plant, including pumps and motorsCarry out basic plumbing works, including unblocking toiletsMonitor and operate BMS systems (hot & cold checks)Ensure all tasks are completed in a timely and professional mannerProactively identify and resolve faults across building services equipmentEnsure all health & safety requirements are followed and escalated where necessaryMaintain communication with client staff and report service-related issuesRemain flexible to support site requirements within skill setEscort and supervise specialist subcontractors

Requirements:
