Paediatric Occupational Therapist
A well-established, values-driven paediatric practice is seeking an experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join them on a self-employed (associate) basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a therapist looking to build or expand their independent practice, while benefiting from a consistent and varied referral stream. The organisation adopts a client-centred, neuro-affirming approach, with a strong emphasis on delivering practical, functional interventions that support children and young people in their everyday lives.
The Role
The successful candidate will:
Manage a varied paediatric caseload, supporting children and young people with a range of developmental and functional needsProvide support for sensory processing differences (experience in sensory integration is advantageous)Deliver targeted interventions to develop activities of daily living (ADLs), including: ToiletingDressingPersonal hygiene Deliver hands-on, functional therapy, supporting children to build independence in real-life contextsReferrals are available across the week, with current demand highest on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.
Working Arrangement
This is a self-employed associate position, offering a high level of flexibility. The successful candidate will:
Work as an independent practitionerManage their own caseload and clinical decision-makingSet their own working hours and availabilityBe responsible for maintaining professional registration, indemnity insurance, and tax arrangementsThere is opportunity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, while maintaining autonomy over your own practice.

Applicants should:
Be HCPC registered with relevant paediatric experienceHave experience of, or a strong interest in, sensory processing differencesBe confident supporting children with functional daily living skillsBe organised, motivated, and comfortable working independentlyDemonstrate a commitment to a neuro-affirming, child-centred approachBe seeking a flexible role with a reliable source of referralsAdditional Information
