Apprentice Customer Service Freight Forwarder

A fast-paced, customer-facing apprenticeship supporting the end-to-end movement of freight. You’ll act as a key link between customers, transport providers, and internal teams, ensuring shipments run smoothly and customers stay fully informed at every stage.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary contact for customers, providing clear, timely updates on shipment progressProactively communicate delays, changes, or issues and manage expectationsLiaise with hauliers and airlines to gather real-time shipment and schedule informationMonitor jobs from start to finish, ensuring service levels are metRespond promptly to customer queries via phone, email, and internal systemsMaintain accurate records of communications and job activityBuild strong working relationships with transport partners and colleaguesIdentify and escalate potential service issues to minimise disruptionDeliver professional, high-quality customer service at all times

Salary of £17,500 with company benefits to include:

To be considered for this opportunity you must drive and have access to your own vehicle to commute to and from work.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:30 (37.5 hours a week)
