Marketing Specialist (Education Tech), Up to £62500, 80% Remote Working, Reading Area, 5-8 Month Contract (Covering maternity), Global Technology Company
Working for a global technology company we are looking for an experienced Marketing Specialist to work within their Technology Education sector for a 5-8 month contract covering maternity.
Overview of the Marketing Specialist:
The pandemic caused a surge in remote and hybrid learning, device deployment, infrastructure modernisation, physical learning spaces, and pedagogical practice.

Core Responsibilities:
Product advocacy:
Be the product evangelist for all  products within the Education portfolio, develop localised competitive strategy, position the value proposition, and tailor messaging to both internal (e.g., sales and marketing readiness) and external audiences.

Go-to-Market strategy, planning & execution:
Create and orchestrate strategic go-to-market plans for the Education business across sales, marketing, and partner functions.
Partner with sales to land field enablement accountability and the wider Education team to ensure alignment with business results.
Drive Education business, marketing planning and execution to meet local priorities:​
Work with corporate and local Education Teams to set metrics, drive usage and tracking outcomes on Teams for Education Monthly Active Users and Windows Education Device Activations.
Accountable for driving the subsidiary revenue, scorecard, and market share for Education related products and services.
Ideal Background Needed:
Passion for education to bring equitable, accessible, and secure learning environments to all learners and educators across Primary, Secondary, Further & Higher Education. 
Strong understanding of the Education products, a deep understanding of the local education market, and the local competitive landscape.
A self-starter, with 3-5 years marketing strategy, business planning, sales enablement, business development, technical pre-sales, OR related work experience.
Demonstrable experience managing and expanding a product/solution portfolio and driving demand generation and pipeline acceleration within a complex (e.g., multinational or matrixed) organisation and leading v-teams.
