The Role
You will work closely with the Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring high standards of care, education, and safeguarding. You will lead by example, support staff development, and help create a positive, nurturing environment for children and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

Support the daily operations of the nurseryLead, motivate, and develop the staff teamEnsure full compliance with EYFS and safeguarding requirementsBuild strong relationships with parents and carersOversee planning, observations, and children’s developmentMaintain a safe, engaging, and inclusive environmentTake responsibility for the nursery in the Manager’s absence

Requirements

Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguardingPrevious experience in a senior or supervisory nursery roleLeadership skills with the ability to support and delegate effectivelyA positive, professional, and proactive approachA genuine passion for early years education and childcare

Salary and Benefits
