Apprentice Electrical Assembler

As an Apprentice Electrical Assembler, you’ll:

Work alongside experienced engineers to build bespoke electrical distribution units Learn how to assemble components using hand tools and wiring accessories Install circuit protection devices such as MCBs and RCBOs Carry out basic wiring following schematics and technical drawings Use cable ties, crimps, lugs and terminals to complete builds Apply labels, serial numbers and safety markings to finished products Test completed units to ensure quality and safety standards are met Gradually take on more responsibility as your skills develop

You’ll be working on custom-built solutions – including multi-socket outlets, switched units and specialist distribution panels – meaning every day brings something different.

Training:

You’ll study towards a Level 2 or 3 Lean Manufacturing apprenticeship, learning valuable skills that you can use throughout your career, including:

Understanding lean manufacturing principles and efficiency Improving production processes and reducing waste Quality control and continuous improvement techniques Health and safety in a manufacturing environment

You’ll spend part of your time completing training (fully funded by the employer), and the rest applying your learning in the workplace.

 

Training Outcome:

Looking to progress into more senior roles in the business over time.
