Estimating/Quantity Surveyor Apprenticeship
Learn the functions involved in the roles of an Estimator / Quantity Surveyor.

Training:
Civil Engineering Technicians provide support to engineers and other construction professionals in the design, delivery and maintenance of the built environment and infrastructure schemes.
They need to be highly skilled, versatile, motivated and able to work confidently across a range of technical roles. This course provides a range of experiences, including theory and practical sessions, supported by visits to local construction sites and talks from industry professionals.
Course content includes:
Year 1: construction principles and technology, health and safety, surveying in construction Year 2: construction design, construction in civil engineering, further maths, site engineering Year 3: highway construction, management of a construction projectYou will complete the Level 3 Civil Engineering Technician Apprenticeship Standard:
This apprenticeship will involve college attendance and off-the-job training You will also develop your knowledge, skills and behaviours You need to have an employer to support your apprenticeship and be employed in a relevant job role The typical length of this apprenticeship is 36 monthsTraining Outcome:
You will be regularly assessed during your apprenticeship, and at the end, you will be integrated into our Estimating or Quantity Surveying Department

We’re also experts in roads and sewers. Our services include new infrastructure, carriageways and footpaths, and we are Anglian water approved contractors for sewer connections.
Working Hours :
Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5.00pm.
