Software Tester Apprentice

Perform manual and automated testing to ensure quality
Log, track, and retest bugs using tools like Teams or Jira  Collaborate with developers and analysts in Agile stand-ups and sprints Use tools such as Selenium, Postman, and SQL for testing tasks Document test results and contribute to quality reports Support user acceptance testing before product releases

Training:
Attend structured training sessions delivered by the training provider (online) Learn on the job through real projects, mentoring, and shadowing experienced testers Build a portfolio of work to evidence skills, knowledge, and behaviours

Training Outcome:
Junior/Software Tester - first role after qualifying, running test cases on live projects Test Analyst / QA Analyst - designing test strategies and owning test plans Automation Test Engineer - building automated test frameworks  Performance / Security Tester - specialising in load, stress, or penetration testing SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) - combining coding and testing skills Test Lead / QA Lead - managing testers and overseeing quality across projects Test Manager / Head of QA - leading testing strategy at a senior level
