Plant Operator

This is a hands-on role working at the heart of the production process, supporting the smooth and efficient running of plant operations whilst maintaining high standards of quality, safety and performance.

In the Plant Operator role, you will be:

Carrying out manufacturing and production operations in line with company proceduresOperating machinery and manufacturing equipment safely and efficientlyEnsuring working areas, machinery and equipment are kept clean and tidy after useMaintaining high standards of health & safety and environmental practice at all timesCompleting manufacturing and production documentation accurately and efficientlyReporting equipment faults, production errors and any operational concerns promptlySupporting the Production Supervisor and wider team to ensure the effective day-to-day running of the business

To be successful in the Plant Operator role, you will need:

Previous experience within a Production, Manufacturing or Plant Operator roleExperience operating manufacturing machinery and equipmentExcellent attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accuratelyGood numerical, literacy and problem-solving skillsA strong commitment to health & safety proceduresThe ability to work independently as well as part of a teamA positive and reliable approach to work

This is a full-time Monday to Friday role offering a salary starting from £12.71 per hour + holiday pay depending on experience, with free on-site parking provided.
