Test Analyst / QA Tester – Remote – UK

(Tech stack: SQL, Postman/Bruno, QA, Tester, Test Analyst, API Testing, Selenium, Playwright, Jira, Azure DevOps)

Are you a sharp QA Tester with strong manual testing skills and experience using SQL and Postman/Bruno?

Our client is looking for a proactive Tester who enjoys problem-solving, exploratory testing and delivering high-quality software in a collaborative remote environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a mid-level QA Engineer / Tester to join a growing team where quality is genuinely valued.

What you’ll be doing

Creating and executing test plans, test cases and test scenarios Performing API testing using Postman/Bruno Using SQL for backend and data validation testing Carrying out regression, smoke and exploratory testing Working closely with developers, business stakeholders and other QA professionals Supporting continuous improvement across testing processes

Skills we’re looking for

Strong manual QA and testing experience Experience writing SQL queries including joins and data validation Hands-on API testing experience using Postman/Bruno Strong analytical and communication skills Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps or similar tools Agile environment experience

Experience with Selenium, Playwright or automation frameworks would be a bonus.

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Tester who cares about software quality, enjoys investigating issues and wants to grow their QA career in a supportive team.

Location: Remote – UK (3 times a year in the office)

Salary: Up to £40K + Benefits
