Transitions Analyst

Job Description:
One of the UK’s leading consultancy firms are looking for a Transitions Analyst to join their growing team based in either Edinburgh or Glasgow.

You will join a team of transition specialists and play a key role delivering asset transition service to the firm’s clients working in conjunction with the consultants.

Essential Skills/Experience:

Previous knowledge of transitions preferable.
A background in system and process, with strong experience of driving improvements in both.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Able to work to a high level of accuracy, with strong attention to detail.
Flexible, pro-active, and innovative approach
Strong organisational skills
Collaborative and able to build good relationships with colleagues and peers.
Audit background would be beneficial.
Evidence of attaining relevant professional qualifications would be desirable.


Core Responsibilities:

Liaising with client team to understand the objectives of the asset transition exercise.
Leading the planning
Taking responsibility for the implementation of the asset transfer.
Liaison with all parties involved including investment managers, custodians, and third-party administrators.
Collating all necessary documentation
Arrange authorisations for instructions.
Monitoring all stages of the asset transfer
Adherence to the transition process and updating the system to ensure there is a robust audit trail
Contributing to the improvement of the process
Active contributor the transitions team, through ideas, sharing issues and solutions, and sharing of market knowledge.
