Childcare Apprenticeship - Wolverley
Little Cedars Day Nursery is a small and highly regarded setting attached to Heathfield Knoll School. It benefits from beautiful woodland surroundings and is fully refurbished, including new furnishings, outdoor spaces and resources. As part of a smaller team, you will have the opportunity to gain from working alongside more experienced colleagues, as well as being fully supported by the nursery and school team. Key Responsibilities:
Support the delivery of the EYFS, ensuring children’s individual needs and interests are met Assist with observing, assessing, and planning for children’s development and next steps Build positive relationships with children, parents, and carers Help maintain learning journeys and development records Work collaboratively as part of a supportive nursery team Ensure a safe, clean, and stimulating environment at all times Support children with daily routines, including play, meals, and care needs Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies and procedures Attend training, staff meetings, and contribute to continuous development Assist with general nursery duties, including preparing resources and tidyingTraining:

Upon completion of this 12 month apprenticeship, you will have obtained your Early Years Practitioner Level 2 Apprenticeship qualification.
Training Outcome:
There is a possibility of being offered a full time role after successful completion of the apprenticeship.

You will work hands-on with an experienced team of like-minded professionals working with young children (ages 0-4).
Working Hours :
Monday - Friday. Shifts range between 7:30am and 6:00pm.
