Early Years Apprenticeship Level 2/Level 3
The apprenticeship role sits within our Early Years team, working across all rooms depending on the needs of the setting. Apprentices will support qualified practitioners in delivering high‑quality care, learning opportunities and routines for children aged 0–5 years.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting children’s play, learning and development in line with the EYFS Assisting with daily routines including meals, toileting, nappy changing and sleep times Helping to set up and maintain safe, stimulating learning environments Observing children and contributing to planning activities Building positive relationships with children, families and colleagues Following safeguarding, health and safety and setting policies at all timesYour day‑to‑day contact will be Ryan Barratt, assistant manager and the senior practitioners within your allocated room.
Training:
Learners will be required to attend a mandatory college-based day at Peterborough College, that takes place 1 day every 3 weeks for approx 6hrs duration.
Training Outcome:
Successful apprentices may progress into a permanent Early Years Practitioner role at Little Leverets Childcare. Further opportunities include completing the Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification (if starting at Level 2), room leader responsibilities, or continued professional development within the early years sector.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday between 07.30 - 17.30 on a rota.
