Health and Social Care Apprenticeship - Bromsgrove

As a domiciliary care worker, you will be working alone and in a small team. You will gain skills in communication, team work, resilience and basic health care. A part of this work is getting to know your clients and understanding their individuality and history, gaining the ability to talk to people of different backgrounds and experiences. 

Responsibilities:

Reliability Support with personal care Assisting or administering medication  Preparing and serving food Taking part in activities of the clients choosing , for example shopping or going out for lunch

Upon completion of this 12 month apprenticeship, you will have obtained your Level 2 Adult Care Worker Apprenticeship qualification.

Training Outcome:

There is a possibility of being offered a full time role after successful completion of the apprenticeship.

Employer Description:
An opportunity to support people in their own homes, maintain their independence and truly provide person centred care. The role involves supporting people with all activities of daily life, including personal care, companionship, medication administration and food preparation.

Working Hours :
Flexible. Mornings, evenings, and weekends. Earliest start is 7:45am, and latest finish will be 9:30pm.
