Training:
Bricklayer Level 2 Block release training provided through North Warwickshire and South Leicestershire, one week in college at our Harrowbrook Campus based in Hinckley in every six-week learning cycle On the job learning and mentor at the employer's place of work

Training Outcome:
As an apprentice bricklayer you will assist qualified bricklayers while learning to construct and repair walls. The role will require you to be able to mix mortar, lay bricks and blocks, maintain tools, adhere to safety procedures and develop practical skills through hands on training becoming a qualified tradesperson This role is ideal for someone who wants to learn a trade while gaining hands on experience on building sites. You will work alongside experienced tradespersons to develop the skills needed to become a qualified bricklayer. You will learn to assist and handle the preparation of materials and mortar for the laying of bricks and blocks. Learn to read and understand working drawings. Learn to maintain a clean and safe working environment for yourself and others. Learn to construct a wide verity of work which will include - cavity wall construction, dentil detail, corbel detail, arch detail, screen walling and chimney construction etc.

Bricklaying Contractors, working on domestic new build developments throughout the West Midlands.

Working Hours :
Monday through to Friday 7.30am - 4.30pm
