Quantity Surveying Degree Apprentice
Assist with cost estimating and cost planning for construction projects
Undertake take-offs from drawings and prepare pricing schedules
Support subcontractor procurement and contract documentation
Help with commercial reporting, valuations and cost control
Visit sites and collaborate with project teams to monitor project progress
Opportunity to develop full professional expertise in cost management, construction contracts, commercial skills and surveying
Liaise effectively with internal departments including site operations, design, logistics, accounts, health and safety, and environmental teams
Manage subcontract packages, including verifying applications for payment, agreeing variations and compensation events, and settling final accounts
Training:
Apprentice will be working 4 days a week on site at the Woodsmith project, Redcar, TS10 4RG and one day a week at Teesside University, TS1 3BX.
Training Outcome:
To become a Quantity Surveyor and progress up the Commercial career path.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.00pm.
