Job Title - Lead Engineer
Salary - £51,000
Shift – Double Days (Monday to Friday, 6am to 2pm / 2pm – 10pm) with 1 in 5 weekends

Synergi are searching for a Lead Engineer for a food manufacturing company based in Long Sutton, Lincolnshire.

Responsibilities:

As a Lead Engineer, you’ll be responsible for a team of 11 engineers, whilst also ensuring the wider maintenance team are following correct procedures to ensure downtime is kept to a minimum.

Carry out maintenance activities ensuring the manufacturing team achieve maximum compliance to the production plan and create a maintenance strategy to implement a proactive mentality, rather than firefighting.

Communicate effectively and confidently to all levels of colleagues within the business as well as clients, suppliers, contractors and customers outside the business

Skills Required:

- Previous experience of leading/managing teams of Maintenance Engineers within the FMCG industry
- Have previous experience within maintenance in a factory environment.
- CMMS knowledge (ideally SAP
- Effective communication skills to be able to motivate and lead a team to success
