We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established provider of children’s residential care, seeking an experienced Senior Children’s Residential Support Worker to join their dedicated team. The Role
As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the home while providing high-quality care to young people. You’ll lead by example, mentor junior staff, and help create a safe, stable, and nurturing environment.

Support the management team in the daily operation of the homeLead shifts and provide guidance to junior staffDeliver high-quality care and support to children and young peopleBuild strong, positive relationships with residentsContribute to care planning and risk assessmentsEnsure safeguarding and compliance with regulatory standardsMaintain accurate records and reports

About You

Proven experience working in children’s residential careLevel 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) – essentialWorking towards or willingness to complete Level 4/5 (desirable)Strong leadership and communication skillsA resilient, compassionate, and proactive approachUnderstanding of safeguarding and regulatory requirements
