Apprentice Supply Chain Warehouse Operative

Job Requirements:

The successful candidate will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office The candidate should have the ability to work in a team as well as carry out their own independent work and bring their own ideas and opinions forward to their peers The successful candidate should have a positive ‘can do’ attitude towards their work This is a 50:50 split between desk and active role moving around the factory Previous use of an MRP software program is beneficial but not essential

Duties will include, but will not be limited to:

Looking after goods-in, unpacking and locating parts in the correct places Assisting with spare parts sales by locating the parts, packaging and shipping Speaking to customers regarding spare parts Speaking to suppliers regarding goods-in Ordering parts from suppliers

Training:
The successful candidate will work towards achieving their Apprenticeship Standard in Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Level 2 A dedicated work-based trainer will be assigned to the candidate to provide them with support and guidance throughout the course This is a work-based programme with College attendance required once a month All learning will take place at the candidate's place of employment/College and within their contracted working hours

Training Outcome:
Permanent position and career progression on successful completion of the Apprenticeship

Working Hours :
Working week 8.30am - 4.30pm. Days to be confirmed
