Apprentice Painter and Decorator

To assist the Facilities and Procurement Manager/Works Manager in carrying out interior and exterior painting and decorating duties as part of a busy maintenance team of skilled craftspeople. You will work alongside and shadow our painter and decorator, supporting a range of projects whilst developing new skills and gaining valuable hands-on experience. 

Training:
The learner will be studying the Painter and Decorator Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard qualification. Day release to West Suffolk College

Training Outcome:

Upon successful completion of the programme, there may be opportunities for a permanent position as a painter and decorator, subject to performance. Remaining with the college would allow you to continue developing your skills while contributing to the upkeep and preservation of the college's buildings and facilities as part of an experienced Maintenance Team.

Working Hours :
Monday-Friday (7:30am-16:00pm) - 30 minutes unpaid for lunch.
