Level 4 Manufacturing Product Testing Apprentice
Support the setup, planning, and execution of component testing activities
Assist with managing engineering design changes and maintaining associated documentation
Carry out inspections and basic measurements to support component development and validation
Contribute to root cause analysis and recommend improvements to address quality or process issues
Ensure all testing and production activities comply with health, safety, and regulatory standards
Operate basic production machinery and tools safely and in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Work closely with cross-functional teams including Design, Manufacturing, and Quality
Identify and report maintenance or calibration issues in a timely manner
Maintain a clean, safe, and well organised work area
Support team-based improvement activites, including quality improvements and cost reduction initiatives
Training:
You will be required to attend Advance 1 Campus, Dudley College, DY1 4AD, 1 day per week in term time only
Upon successful completion of your apprenticeship you will gain a Level 4 Engineering Manufacturing Technician (mechanical) HNC Apprenticeship qualification.
You will be assigned an assessor who will visit you in the workplace every 6-8 weeks to support you on your apprenticeship

Working Hours :
Monday to Thursday, 08:15 - 16:45 and Friday, 08:15 - 13:15
