Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship

Deliver tailored teaching activities to pupils on either a one-to-one basis or in small groups Make sure that the pupils are able to engage in learning and stay on task during the lesson or activity Support the social and emotional development of pupils, reporting any issues when required Support the teacher in managing challenging pupil behaviour and promoting pupil positive behaviour Listen to pupils read and read to pupils as a class, group or one-to-one Guide and monitor pupils progress Help with the planning of some lessons Provide detailed and regular feedback to teachers on pupils progress Carry out administartion duties, such as preparing classroom resourses Look after pupils who have had accidents, need help dressing or are upset Provide support outside of your normal classses, such as helping during exams, covering absences, or going on school trips

Advanced Level 3 Teaching Assistant Standard All training done via Tyne Coast College End-point Asesssment (EPA)

Career development opportunities, including access to apprenticeship qualification Possibility of full-time placement for the right candidate, on completion of the qualification and satisfactory reviews

Employer Description:

We provide special education, care, support, accommodation and lifelong learning opportunities at our two schools, college, homes and Horizons lifelong learning service.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm, some late evenings due to needs of school and activities.
