Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 DOE
Hours: Full time or part time (3–5 days), including most Saturdays with potential flexibility (1 in 4 off)

Zest Optical Recruitment is working with an independent Opticians in Melrose, Scottish Borders to recruit a full or part time Optometrist.

This is an opportunity to join a well-established, patient-focused practice with a loyal patient base. The practice offers longer test times, a relaxed clinic structure and a focus on quality care.

Optometrist – The Role

Full or part time Optometrist role in Melrose Independent Opticians with a strong community presence Single testing clinics with 30–45 minute appointments Advanced equipment including OCT, DNEye Scanner Focus on high levels of clinical care and patient experience Loyal and established patient base Supportive, close-knit team environment Opportunity to build long-term patient relationships

Working Hours

3–5 days per week Including most Saturdays with potential flexibility (1 in 4 off) 9am to 5pm

Salary and Benefits
