Social Care Worker - Offaly

AA Euro Healthcare is currently recruiting qualified and experienced Relief Social Care Workers to support residential and community-based services in Offaly.

This is a flexible agency opportunity for motivated professionals seeking relief shifts while gaining valuable experience within established intellectual disability services.

Successful candidates will support children and/or young people in residential settings, delivering high-quality, person-centred care in line with best practice and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, person-centred care and supportAssist individuals with daily living skills and personal careSupport service users in achieving their personal goals and outcomesPromote independence, inclusion, and community engagementMaintain accurate records, reports, and care documentationWork collaboratively within a multidisciplinary teamEnsure compliance with HIQA standards and safeguarding policies

Essential Criteria

QQI Level 7 degree in Social Care or a related disciplineEligible for or registered with CORUExperience working with individuals with intellectual disabilitiesFull clean driving licenceStrong communication and interpersonal skillsGood IT and report writing ability
