Mechanical Engineering Apprentice

To produce batches of parts as instructed To identify tooling requirements To have an understanding of the works order administration system To carry out routine maintenance as required To be able to use and interpret engineering data and documentation such as engineering drawings, technical data and computer-generated programmes You will be expected to be able to set up, operate and adjust/edit equipment settings as applicable to the machine tool being used When using CNC equipment, you will be expected to be able to produce, prove and/or edit programmes

Training:

Machining Technician Level 3.

This programme is delivered via a day release delivery model which means that one day per week, your attendance is required at our engineering campus (NG17). This attendance is required during term time only.

Training Outcome:

To become a fully qualified CNC Machinist in a permanent role.

Working Hours :
Monday to Thursday 8am - 4.30pm, Friday 7am - 1.30pm.
