CAD/Estimator Engineering Apprentice
Weekly/Daily Tasks:
Collect and analyse relevant data and information to accurately estimate the costs associated with manufacturing a product Communicating with customers and suppliers to obtain required technical and commercial information Interpret and review technical drawings and specifications Gather and organise project-related data from internal and external stakeholders Prepare and modify 2D drawings as required Develop flat patterns (blank) for manufacturing processes Compile and update detailed cost sheets to support quotation and production planningTraining:
This is a Level 3 Engineering and Manufacturing Support apprenticeship, delivered over a 36-month period. The apprentice will attend the training centre In-Comm Training Aldridge or Telford, 2 and a half days per week for the first 14 months.
Training Outcome:
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, there will be a full-time position available with several pathways.

Working Hours :
Monday to Thursday 8am - 4.30pm Friday 8am - 3.30pm
