Full-Time Veterinary Surgeon

We are working on behalf of a well-established, independent small animal practice to recruit a Veterinary Surgeon to join their experienced team. This is an excellent opportunity for a vet seeking a supportive environment with a strong emphasis on patient care and continuity.
The practice is ideally looking for a Veterinary Surgeon with a minimum of three years’ experience, although applications from candidates who demonstrate a compassionate and dedicated approach will also be considered.
The Role
This position offers a varied caseload with a good balance of consultations and surgical work. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to manage cases from start to finish, supporting continuity of care and building strong client relationships.
15-minute consultations as standard, with 30 minutes allocated for new clientsNo high-volume, production-line consultingClinical freedom within a supportive team structureThe Practice
The practice operates from a purpose-built, modern facility and is well equipped to support a high standard of first opinion care. Facilities include:
Separate dog and cat wards and waiting areasDigital and dental radiographyUltrasoundMulti-parameter monitoringIn-house laboratoryThere is a strong team environment with a good level of experience across the clinical staff. In addition, the practice benefits from regular input from visiting specialists in areas such as dermatology, cardiology, orthopaedics, imaging and endoscopy.
Candidates with an interest or experience in ultrasound would be advantageous but are not essential.
Professional Development
Ongoing development is actively encouraged, with a structured CPD allowance of £2,000. This role would suit a vet looking to continue developing clinically within a collaborative environment.
