Level 3 Livestock Technician Apprenticeship

The main duties will include but are not limited to:

Operating farm machinery including tractors and attachments Monitoring and feeding  livestock Monitoring supplies stock e.g. livestock feed etc Handling livestock and providing appropriate accommodation for them Working in a team and keeping records. Grass rolling and drilling

Training:

You will be supported by an assessor throughout your apprenticeship. 

As you progress through your apprenticeship your duties and responsibilities will alter as you develop the skills for a successful career in agriculture. 

Training will be a mix of face to face and online learning. 

You will gain a Livestock Technician Level 3 qualification with further opportunities for training to Level assistant farm manager, development and permanent employment upon completion. 



Training Outcome:

Upon successful completion there may be the opportunity for a permanent position and further training on the Level 4 Assistant Farm Manager Apprenticeship.



Employer Description:

Lee Valley Regional Park Authority is responsible for the 26 mile long, 10,000 acre park with its huge variety of award winning green spaces, world class sports venues and ecologically vital wildlife havens.  



Working Hours :
Monday to Sunday on a rota, between 6.00am and 8.00pm.
