Apprentice Dental Nurse

Welcoming patients, reassuring them and offering comfort to anxious patients to create a positive experience Providing chairside support to dentists, and hygienist, mixing materials, passing instruments and suction, whilst ensuring high standards of cleanliness, patient comfort and infection control Decontamination and sterilisation duties in accordance with infection control standards Administration duties & stock control: Updating patient records, liaising with dental laboratories regarding patients work and stocking up of surgeries

Training:
Dental Nurse (GDC 2023) Level 3 Training will be agreed once recruitment has been completed

Training Outcome:

Once qualified, we will offer I.V Sedation and Inhalation courses, fluoride application, and oral health courses for suitable candidates.

Employer Description:

We are a 4 surgery NHS dental practice offering routine dentistry and sedation to anxious patients via external/internal referral at the practice. 

We have 3 dentists and a hygienist working on our general contract.

On our sedation contract we offer oral surgery and restorative work under I.V sedation and we also have a dental therapist offering inhalation for anxious children.

Working Hours :
5 days a week Monday - Friday 8.45am - 5.30pm (1-hour lunch 1pm-2pm)
