I’m currently working with a well-established and growing cost consultancy based in Kent who are looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to support their expanding project portfolio.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative team delivering a diverse range of projects, where you’ll have the autonomy to manage your own schemes while also supporting senior colleagues on larger developments.
The Role
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of projects from pre-construction through to final account.
You’ll be responsible for:
Preparing cost plans, estimates, and Bills of QuantitiesManaging multiple projects across various sectorsProviding procurement advice and managing tender processesAdministering contracts and handling valuations and final accountsAttending site visits and liaising with clients and stakeholdersSupporting project delivery while maintaining quality assurance standardsWhat They’re Looking For
Experience in cost planning, procurement, and contract administrationStrong stakeholder management and communication skillsAbility to manage both long-term and fast-paced projectsConsultancy or main contractor background consideredFamiliarity with CostX (or similar software) is desirableProactive, solutions-focused approachThe Opportunity
