Residential Support Worker Apprentice

Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people Build positive, professional relationships with children and colleagues Support children with daily routines, education and structured activities Promote independence and life skills development Manage challenging behaviour using positive behaviour support techniques Follow safeguarding policies and procedures at all times Maintain accurate care records, logs and incident reports Contribute to care planning and review meetings Work as part of a team to create a safe, stable and nurturing environment

Training:

Children, Young People and Families Practitioner Level 4.



Training Outcome:

Upon successful completion, opportunities may include:

Permanent Residential Support Worker position Progression to Senior Residential Support Worker Further development into Deputy Manager or specialist practitioner roles

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday - Shift-based rota including: • Early shifts • Late shifts • Weekends • Sleep-in duties
