Childcare Apprenticeship - Birmingham

This is an exciting opportunity to gain further experience while working towards a Level 3 qualification. You will work alongside a team of experienced staff in our baby room, who will support you throughout your training in a positive and busy nursery environment. 

You will be working in our baby room (0–2 years) alongside an experienced team, gaining the knowledge and experience needed to complete your Level 3 qualification. You will use the EYFS framework to plan activities tailored to a small group of key children, while working closely with parents to build strong, positive relationships with children, staff, and families.

What are the Apprentice's responsibilities? 

Support the daily care routines of babies, including feeding, nappy changing, toileting, and sleep times Assist in planning and delivering age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework Observe, monitor, and record children’s development and progress Act as a key person to a small group of children, building secure and positive relationships Work closely with parents and carers, sharing information about their child’s day and development Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies and procedures Support children’s emotional wellbeing and help them to settle into the setting Work as part of a team, taking direction from senior staff while developing professional skills Attend training sessions and complete coursework towards the Level 3 qualification

Training Outcome:
There is a possibility of being offered a full time role after successful completion of the apprenticeship

Working Hours :
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday hours between 8.00am - 5.45pm
