Social Care Worker – Disability Services
Wicklow | Full-Time | Permanent

AA Euro Healthcare is currently recruiting Social Care Workers on behalf of a leading disability service provider supporting adults with intellectual disabilities in residential and community settings.

This role offers the opportunity to support individuals to live meaningful, independent lives while promoting dignity, inclusion, and person-centred care.

Key Responsibilities

Support individuals with daily living activities and personal care where requiredPromote independence, dignity, and community participationAssist with the implementation of person-centred plans and personal goalsAdminister medication in line with policiesMaintain accurate records and reportsWork collaboratively with colleagues, families, and stakeholdersParticipate in activities and community engagement with service usersAct as Key Worker for assigned individuals

Requirements

QQI Level 7/8 qualification in Social Care, Applied Social Studies, or related field (or working towards)Relevant degrees such as Psychology or Social Work may also be consideredFull clean driver’s licence (essential)Experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities or complex needsKnowledge of HIQA standards and disability servicesStrong communication and teamwork skills
