Location: Howden (dual-site)
Salary: £45,000 rising to £47,500 after probation
Hours: 42 hours per week (between 06:00 – 18:00, Monday–Friday)
Call-out: 1 in 5 rota
The Role
AQUMEN Recruitment is recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to support two industrial sites in Howden and close by.
This is a hands-on, dual-site role where you’ll carry out planned maintenance and respond to breakdowns to keep operations running efficiently. A company pool vehicle is provided for travel between sites.

Planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairsFault finding on electrical and mechanical systemsMaintain accurate records using engineering systemsSupport continuous improvement and site upgradesLiaise with suppliers and manage spare partsEnsure safe working practices and supervise contractorsAbout You
Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Engineering MaintenanceElectrical bias with 17th or 18th Edition (18th preferred)Experience in heavy industrial environmentsStrong fault-finding skills (motors, pumps, gearboxes, etc.)PLC fault-finding knowledge (Allen Bradley desirable)Full UK driving licenceBenefits
