LGV Apprentice Mechanic

Learn to work safely at all times within the workshop and yard Learning the fundamentals of Light Vehicle technologies – Light Vehicle chassis, engine, fuels, transmissions, hydraulic braking, electrical systems, and testing Learn all aspects of LGV auto electrician work Learning how to service, maintain and repair a range of different manufacturer light commercial vehicles and ancillary equipment Ensure all job cards and service sheets are completed in a timely manner, keeping a through record Liaise with parts department to identify and order parts To attend college and pass all theory tests to NVQ level 3 To represent LC Vehicle Hire in a professional and courteous manner always when dealing with customers and the public

Training:
Training will take place at Printworks Campus, Leeds You will be required to attend college bi-weekly

Training Outcome:
Progression to Level 3 apprenticeship

We are a well-established company, founded in 1957, and specialists in commercial vehicle rental. Our Business has 5 rental depots, with modern, fully equipped workshops in the North and South of England. From these depots we operate over 2000 vehicles of which approximately 1000 are LGV.



Working Hours :
Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30.
