Controls Systems Apprentice

Support powertrain control development, including requirements definition and development Support automotive network definition, integration and commissioning Support the software verification and validation in various test environments Create and maintain project documentation throughout the life cycle of the project Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, team members, sales representatives and suppliers Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards

Training:

Term Pattern at WMG:

Week 1: 2.5 days Academic delivery

Week 2 and 3: on-line support day

Week 4: 2.5 days Academic delivery

Week 5: 2 on-line support days

Week 6:  Assessment 1

Week 7: 2.5 days Academic delivery

Week 8 and 9: on-line support day

Week 10: 2.5 days Academic delivery

Week 11: 2 on-line support days

Week 12 : Assessment 2 



Training Outcome:

Once the apprenticeship is complete, you will become a permanent Engineer at AVL Powertrain UK Ltd

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday approx 9am to 5pm (exact working hours TBC).
