Mobile Electrical Engineer – FM Service Provider – Commercial Office – M4 Corridor – Up to £43,000 + Package

Exciting opportunity to join an established FM service provider operating across the M4 Corridor, covering sites including Thatcham, Oxford, Basingstoke, and Reading. CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for a Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work across a portfolio of 6–7 commercial office sites, delivering both planned preventative and reactive maintenance.

The successful candidate will be electrically qualified with a strong background in facilities maintenance and a proven track record in commercial building services. This role is ideal for a multi-skilled engineer looking for stability, training, and long-term career progression.

In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £43,000, overtime opportunities, and further training with a clear route for progression.


Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday08:00 am – 17:00 pmCall-out: TBC
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across multiple commercial sitesPerform electrical maintenance including lighting installations, fault-finding, lamping, and ballast changesConduct emergency lighting testing and maintenanceMonitor and maintain control panels and BMS systems (hot & cold checks)Carry out general M&E and fabric maintenance across sitesMaintain and update logbooks and ensure compliance documentation is completedPerform basic plumbing tasks including unblocking toiletsMaintain pumps, motors, chillers, and pressurisation unitsProactively identify faults and carry out repairs in a timely mannerEnsure all work is completed in line with health & safety regulationsMaintain strong communication with clients and site teamsEscort and manage specialist subcontractors on site

Requirements:
Electrically qualified – City & Guilds Level 2 or 318th Edition Wiring Regulations (Essential) Proven track record in commercial building maintenanceMulti-skilled with a good understanding of building servicesStrong communication and client-facing skillsMust be able to provide trade certificates
