Tekla Detailer

A leading structural steel & architectural metalwork contractor based in Belfast is currently looking for two permanent Tekla Detailers to work with the team of 20 detailers, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality 3D models and fabrication drawings for major projects across the UK and Ireland.

Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £35,000 – £50,000 per annum (DOE)
Hours: 39 hours per week (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Mon–Thu | 8:40 AM – 4:00 PM Fri)
Location: Belfast (County Down)

Key Responsibilities:

Producing accurate 3D models using Tekla Structures. Detailing a mix of structural steelwork (60%) and architectural metalwork (40%). Generating high-quality General Arrangements (GAs), assembly drawings, and individual part drawings. Collaborating with a team of 20 other detailers to ensure consistent standards and project delivery. Interpreting architectural and engineering drawings to ensure technical accuracy. Liaising with internal production and site teams to resolve technical queries.

Requirements:

Essential: Proven experience as a Detailer/Draughtsman using Tekla Structures. Strong understanding of structural steel fabrication and architectural metalwork detailing. Ability to manage multiple tasks within a fast-paced design office. Excellent communication skills and a team-player mentality.
