Electrical Surveyor
A client within the Public Sector based in the Northeast is currently recruiting for an Electrical Surveyor to join their team as soon as possible.
The client is offering a full time, temporary position on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority housing environment.
The Role
Key purpose of the role is to provide electrical technical support and knowledge to construction services and other council clients.
To carry out and manage the preparation of estimates, programmes, asset surveys and the technical delivery of building contracts.
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
To carry out programmed cycles of property surveys and the continuous assembly of all forms of data relating to council assets throughout portfolio.
To implement the standards and the policies of the Service across the council portfolio of buildings to ensure safe and secure property assets
To carry out specialist projects within expenditure and time constraints with full end to end consistency
The Candidate
To be considered for this role you will require an HNC/D or equivalent qualification in a Building Services related subject and a full driving license.
The below skills would be essential for the role:
Time Served Electrician within construction service
BS 7671:2018 18th Edition wiring regulations
SMSTS qualification should be essential (or prepared to qualify)
Valid CSCS Card (or prepared to qualify)
The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering £25 - £30 per hour Umbrella Ltd.
Inside IR35.
