Deputy Manager – Up to £43,000 – Large Capacity Venue

Role:

We are recruiting for an experienced Deputy Manager to join a high-volume, large-capacity venue in London. This is a key leadership role supporting the General Manager in the day-to-day running of a busy operation with a turnover exceeding £100k+. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both food and bar operations, with experience managing large teams in fast-paced, high-volume environments. You will be confident in a guest-facing role, bringing an outgoing personality and a hands-on leadership style.

Responsibilities:

Support the General Manager in the overall running of a high-volume, large-capacity venue Lead, manage, and develop a large front and back of house teamOversee daily food and bar operations to ensure consistent service standardsTake ownership of private hire and events, ensuring smooth planning and executionDrive exceptional customer experience and handle guest feedback professionallyAssist with stock control, rotas, compliance, and operational reportingAct as a visible, hands-on leader on the floor during busy service periodsEnsure all licensing, health & safety, and company procedures are followedSupport recruitment, training, and ongoing development of team membersHold a Personal Licence (desirable but not essential)
