To ensure that all children attending the nursery receive high-quality care and development in line with the EYFS To organise resources for nursery activities and experiences To assist in the growth of all children's developmental progression
To establish a daily schedule in the nursery At all times, maintain a high level of cleanliness and good housekeeping in the nursery To have a thorough understanding of all of the Nursery's rules and procedures, and to make sure that they are followed and respected at all times

Training:

The Level 2 Early Years Practitioner Apprenticeship Standard is delivered on a hybrid model which includes:

Functional Skills Level 1/2 Skills coach to support throughout the journey Online Sessions/Observations

Training Outcome:
For the successful candidate there is the opportunity to be offered ongoing employment and progression

Employer Description:
Stepping Stones at Stockton Heath opened in 2014, and is situated just two minutes from the village. The nursery is perfectly located for local residents, and was awarded Good by Ofsted in 2016. We cater for children from six weeks to five years in a warm, homely environment where our dedicated team can help your child progress and develop. We have fantastic outdoor facilities, with outside decking for babies and multiple surfaces available to the children at all times of day so they can get as much fresh air as possible. We always have a good mix of ages and divide our spaces into different age groups. Sessions on offer range from musical activities to French lessons. Your child’s learning goes on outside nursery of course, so we also offer homework bags and activities to help their development at home.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday, covering the opening times of the setting. The opening times are between 07.00-18.30 and shifts allocated on a rota basis
