Location: Havant, Hampshire
Contract: Permanent
Working pattern: Fully onsite

An innovative engineering organisation operating within the marine and defence sectors is seeking an experienced CNC Milling Machinist to join their growing team. Role Overview: You’ll be responsible for producing high-quality machined components, maintaining safety and quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement across the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities:
• CNC milling with a hands-on approach
• Heidenhain programming
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Maintaining quality and 5S standards
• Working flexibly across machining disciplines when required

Candidate Requirements:
• Apprentice trained (preferred)
• 5+ years CNC machining & programming experience
• Heidenhain/ Mazak experience
• Knowledge of milling & turning techniques
• Experience working with materials such as Inconel, stainless steel, cast iron
• Understanding of Lean / 7 wastes / 5S

Desirable:
• Experience with composite materials
• Knowledge of modern cutting tools
