Assembly Fitter Technician Apprenticeship
Interpret engineering drawings, job packs and build instructions
Fit, assemble and align parts using hand tools, jigs and fixtures
Deburr, fettling and hand-finishing as required to meet specification and safe handling standards
Carry out basic measurement and checks using standard metrology equipment
Complete travellers / work orders, including sign-off and status updates
Identify fit/tolerance issues early (including tolerance stack) and escalate with clear detail
Support rework and continuous improvement activities to reduce repeat issues
Maintain a clean, organised and safe work area, following PPE and H&S requirements
Training:
Please note you must be able to attend Bradford College 1 day a week
Training Outcome:
To become a permanent employee once apprenticeship is complete
