Electrical Engineering Apprentice

Understanding and applying principles, practices, and legislation for terminating and connecting conductors, cables, and cords in electrical systems Preparing and installing wiring systems and electro-technical equipment in buildings, structures, and environmental settings Applying electrical principles to the design, building, installation, and maintenance of electrical equipment and systems Working from drawings and scopes of work Following company health and safety rules and ensuring compliance with all processes and procedures Ensuring electrical safety is a core part of your responsibilities, and you must adhere to safe working practices to protect yourself and others

Training:

Engineering Maintenance Technician - Single Discipline Level 3.

The apprenticeship follows a 3.5-year programme, with the first year spent off the job at CATCH in Stallingborough. This would be Monday - Friday 8.30am - 4pm The remainder of the apprenticeship is then completed onsite with the employer

Training Outcome:

Successful completion of the apprenticeship could lead to a higher-level apprenticeship or full-time employment for the right candidate.

You will have developed a variety of interchangeable skills and have an in depth understanding of manufacturing and processes.

Working Hours :
Mondays to Thursdays - 08:00 to 16:30 Fridays - 08:00 to 15:30 You may be required to work additional hours as required in the normal execution of your duties.
