What you’ll do at work:
Follow appropriate policies, procedures and systems ensuring the educational, social, physical, emotional, health and welfare needs of the children are always met Become involved in children’s activities to stimulate and extend their learning Demonstrate sensitivity toward children and families within the facility Assist in the admission and induction of new children Assist in the maintenance of all necessary records to meet internal, E.Y.D.C.P and Ofsted requirements Take an active role in the promotion of excellent health and safety practices Respond effectively to any health and safety issues that may arise and report any necessary matters Participate in training and meetings as requested by the management team Perform any other duties with the general nature of the position requested by the management teamTraining:
The apprenticeship will be completed at the nursery No college or training centre
Training Outcome:
Further employment is available at this setting subject to the completion of the apprenticeship
Employer Description:
Little Acorns Nursery Ltd is situated in the grounds of De Lacy Academy. The premises were opened in 2003.
Children are accommodated in a purpose-built Nursery, which is situated in a quiet corner of the grounds with its own car park. A security fence, alarm and Facial Recognition system ensures safe and secure surroundings for all users.
Working Hours :
Monday- Friday, up 40 hours per week. £8.00 per hour. Shifts to be confirmed.
