Early Years Apprenticeship
During your Apprenticeship you will:
Supervision of children at all times To help in maintaining a clean environment at all times; Cleaning surfaces, floors and utensils used by the children Keeping children safe while walking Interacting with children Encourage healthy eating and assist during meal times Organising activities Take and collect children from school Reading and singing rhymes to the children and good partnership with parents To support in providing appropriate learning experiences and planning age appropriate activities for the children To assist in toilet training and nappy change Comply with all requirements set out by the regulatory authority ( OFSTED) To adhere in policies and procedures set by the child care providerTraining:
Level 2 Early Years Apprenticeship Functional Skills Maths and English, where required DBS & First Aid training essential, but can be obtained while on the job
Training Outcome:
Further progression may well be available in other areas within our sector, upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.

A childminding service provides safe, reliable, and high-quality childcare in a nurturing home-based environment. The setting supports children’s learning and development through a range of age-appropriate activities, promoting social, emotional, and educational growth. Childminders work in partnership with parents and carers to ensure each child’s individual needs are met, while maintaining a secure, inclusive, and stimulating environment. The service follows relevant safeguarding, health and safety, and early years guidelines to ensure the wellbeing of all children in their care.
Working Hours :
Working hours between Monday and Thursday, 09.00-16.00.
