Stone Mason Apprenticeship

Vetter UK Ltd is a specialist stone contractor and a leading company in the UK stone industry. We operate throughout the UK with the capability to undertake all aspects of work; designing, supplying and installing high-quality facades, floors, internal Fit-Out, urban landscaping, restoration, and Conservation. You will be based at one of our projects across the UK, working across various sectors including hospitals, airports, railways and football stadiums.

As a Stone Mason, you will learn to install various stone components across the interior of a building, both new builds and refurbishment projects, including staircases, bathrooms, flooring and wall cladding. You will also learn how to install handset stone cladding and hard landscaping across the outside of structures, shaping the building façade and external realms. You will work closely with experienced stone masons who will support your development, helping you build practical skills, confidence, and a strong understanding of stone masonry.

Accuracy, attention to detail, and a positive attitude to learning are essential, and full training will be provided.



Training:

Training will take place at Bath College.

Clear career progression on completion of the apprenticeship.



Employer Description:

The Trade and Technical Apprenticeship programme provides you with a formal college education, leading to a Level 2  apprenticeship standards in your chosen vocation. You will also gain a broad set of trade technical skills through on-the-job training, supported by our qualified and experienced workforce, and construction professionals. A dedicated mentor and approved training provider will work closely with you, providing regular feedback on your progress towards completing your apprenticeship.



Working Hours :
Monday - Friday 08:00-17:00.
