Early Years Educator Apprenticeship

The Nursery Apprentice will work alongside an established team, to provide quality care and education to children from 3months to school age.   The role involves being enthusiastic in attitude to create a fun and stimulating environment, good communication skills to converse with babies and children, also with the staff team and parents.   We work together to keep the environment clean and suitable for the children, this involves all aspects of cleaning and tidying.   The role involves supporting children in their self-care from washing hands, changing nappies and help with feeding. 
 

Training:

Workshops delivered at the learner's workplace. Off the job sessions delivered around the following themes:  

Personal Development EYFS   Child Development   Safeguarding  Learning Through Play   Observation & Assessment   Child assessment   Communication, Literacy & Language Development   SEN   Partnership Working   Legislation  Health, Safety & Well-being  The EPA consists of these assessment methods:   Professional Discussion   Observation & Questions 
 

Training Outcome:

Specific job roles with more responsibilities such as Room leads, SENCO, DSL and Deputy Manager may come available. Further education at degree level available.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday 8 hours per day between the hours of 8am-6pm
