EQUINE GROOM APPRENTICESHIP - L2 or L3 - STUD YARD

The position is for a confident Level 2 OR 3 apprentice looking to progress their career in the stud industry and develop their knowledge and understanding of running a stud of race horses.

The role involves:

Leading and handling foals, youngstock, broodmares and stallions Supporting vet and farrier visits

General yard duties, including but not limited to:

Turning out, bringing in Grooming Tacking up Stable and field maintenance

Please note, this is a breeding pathway, not a riding pathway.

Training:
All training will be provided on site during your paid working hours Your day to day mentoring will be with your employer, and a combination of online and in person monthly sessions will be held with your Haddon Training Trainer Coach

Training Outcome:
Progression to the Level 3 Senior Groom apprenticeship Possibility of full time employment for the right candidate

Working Hours :
Level 2 Equine Groom= 12-15 months. Level 3 Senior Equine Groom= 15-18 months. Rota of 5 days p/week including every other weekend, 7.00am - 4.00pm.
