Fabrication and Welding Apprentice

Work closely with your mentor to learn all aspects of fabrication, MAG welding and associated activities for manufacturing structural steel sections Produce accurate finished work from engineering drawings, working to welding execution classes 2-4 Learn to operate various work equipment safely, and how to carry out safety checks Fabricate items that will form part of structures all across the UK and the world

Training:

Based at our premises in Christchurch, Dorset.

You will attend college on a day release basis to complete your Fabrication and Welding Apprenticeship (Lean Manufacturing Operative- Welding Pathway) and will be mentored by another member of the team to help you achieve this.

Functional Skills in English and maths if required.

Training Outcome:
Gaining knowledge and experience to become a Fabricator Welder, with the potential to cross-train into other areas

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4pm with 20 minute tea break and 30 minutes for lunch.
